WHO AM I ?

HYHYHY!!! 

I am Tom. Yeah, you guessed right. That's my pen name.
So, basically there's a story behind choosing my pen name, which I will share with you in another post.
For now let's just speak basics. 😉😉😉


Since this is my first blog post, I think it's mandatory or rather let me say, it's a custom to introduce myself. And here you go.
I want to keep my name a secret for now. Please understand! I know, you will.😊😊😊
I always had this interest to write diary. But when I tried to write one, my secret was exposed to everyone by my so called brother😂😂😂, after which I quit the idea of writing it. And since I love to write things, I used to write some poems, some lines for special ones, some stories, my experiences now and then, in some notepad. Earlier, I didn't find any reason to showcase them to anyone. But now I think it's time for me to get feedback for my work so that I can improve and excel.

Apart from writing, I do a lot of reading. And the reading include- my never ending academics😅😅😅, and my most favorite, novels😍😍😍. Along with them I also read magazines, related to lifestyle, travel & nature preferably. 

Then my other hobbies include birding, of which I will share photos now and then, cooking, listening to music.(Oh... there's one secret I want to tell you here, I am a bathroom singer.😂😋😁)

So with this blog, I am going to share my thoughts on what I read, and whatever my pen speaks, and some of my experiences and incidents in my life.

And... yeah! That's it for now. See you people soon.

HYHYHY!!! Welcome to my blog once again! ABOUT THE BOOK: Today I am going to start my book reviews on this very blog. And for the first review, I picked one of my favourite books, THE ENGLISH PATIENT. It was written by Michael Ondaatje. This book was first published in 1992. In the same year, it was nominated for the Booker prize and eventually bagged it. Later again in 2018, it was nominated for the Golden Man Booker prize and once again, there's no seeing back.  ABOUT THE STORYLINE: The English Patient is a story that is set in the backdrop of the world war-II. And most of the story surrounds an abandoned Italian villa. HYHYHY!!! Welcome back! I was walking in the corridor, nothing like evening or morning walks, to be exact it was noon. I was looking at my garden, leaning on the gate and just left my thoughts to overtake me. I was humming this song "Ude khule aasman ke khwabonke parinde.."
